Chapter 25
Slater's House
Eight-minute odyssey.
Summary
The Slater bedroom chapter, and the last of the three big character rooms. Slater's space is the most cluttered of the trio — a definitive 90s skater room loaded with Sub Pop merch, skate-deck art, and artifacts of the friend group's shared history — with 30-plus interactable items to work through. The Eight Minute Odyssey achievement auto-unlocks on completion, but the name doubles as advice: take the full eight minutes, because speed-running this chapter throws away most of its visual and cultural detail. More importantly, this is a routing chapter. The conversations with Slater — about staying, leaving, and whether Stacy forgives him — include a decision point that locks in the Slater Ending route, so if that is the ending you are steering toward, take the 'agree with Slater' dialogue branches here. As a small payoff, Iggy Pop's 'Candy' (first heard at the Ritz) returns in the credits if you land the Slater Ending. The chapter ends when Eight Minute Odyssey pops.
