Mixtape Guide is an unaffiliated fan-made walkthrough hub for Mixtape, the 2026 narrative coming-of-age game by Beethoven & Dinosaur (Australian studio) and Annapurna Interactive (publisher).
The game pulled IGN's first 10/10 of 2026, hit Metacritic 95 (Xbox) / 92 (PC), and 97% recommend on OpenCritic across 19+ outlets. It's about Stacy Rockford and her two best friends' last summer night together. Three hours long. Twenty-eight licensed songs. Four endings.

When we audited the existing Mixtape guide ecosystem the first week after launch, the dominant competitor had ONE 8-minute "story walkthrough" for the entire 30-chapter game. How content is built
Editorial process
Content sources: We synthesize from publicly available playthrough video transcripts (Hollow, GameRiot Music Included, Maka91 100%, Shirrako 4K, IGN Review), Annapurna's public press kit, and player community evidence.
AI-assisted, human-edited: We use AI to accelerate first-draft writing and translation across 13 languages, then a human editor checks every fact against playthrough video. Where uncertainty exists, we mark it with editor's notes (visible on Endings, Walkthrough chapter, and Songs by Chapter pages).
Iteration cadence: First-week launch covers the framework + most-confident facts. We're actively expanding translation coverage and verifying ambiguous song-to-scene mappings against fresh playthroughs. Corrections welcome via Contact.
