Mixtape Guide

Chapter 15

It's the Pigs, Darling

Black-and-white floating city. Five pig balloons.

Summary

The first dream-sequence chapter, and the moment Mixtape first abandons realism for pure mood. The visual mode shifts to a monochrome, floating perspective as Stacy drifts through a black-and-white city full of giant inflatable pig balloons — a direct nod to Pink Floyd's 'Animals' album art. B.J. Thomas's 'Most of All' plays under it, paired with the narrator's deadpan line, 'Pops, why are there so many pigs out here?' Stacy can press A/X to rise and jump as she floats. Five pig balloons are scattered across the cityscape, and the It's the Pigs, Darling achievement requires crashing into all five — none of them can be skipped, so sweep methodically from low to high to make sure you collect each one. The chapter is short, roughly three to five minutes, and the temptation is to rush; don't. The visuals are the entire point of the chapter, and it ends either when the final pig is hit or on a time-based exit, so there is no reason to hurry through the imagery.
