The bad news first

There is no official Mixtape OST playlist on Spotify (as of writing). Annapurna has not released one because the soundtrack is licensed song-by-song from 23 separate rights holders, plus 5 commissioned tracks from indie artists. This is normal for narrative games with licensed music — the same was true of GTA, Life Is Strange, and others.

The good news: 26 of the 28 tracks ARE individually available on Spotify. (The two exceptions are commissioned tracks that the indie artists have not yet uploaded — Powder by Allclear and Zebra Crossing by The Eye Gougers as of writing.) You can build the full Mixtape playlist yourself in about 8 minutes.

The fastest way to build it

• Open Spotify (web or app). Click "+ New Playlist." Name it "Mixtape (2026 OST)" or similar.

• Open our Songs by Chapter page in another tab. The list is in credit order — that's the sequence to add them in.

• Search each song title + artist (e.g. "Atmosphere Joy Division") and add the result. Most will be on the first hit. A few have multiple versions — pick the original studio recording, not a remaster or live version.

• For the two missing (Powder by Allclear and Zebra Crossing by The Eye Gougers), check the artist's Bandcamp or YouTube page first. They may have uploaded since this guide was written.

• Save and play.

Why Spotify Premium matters specifically for this OST

Mixtape is a game where the songs ARE the chapter structure. When you're trying to relive the night by listening to the OST playlist after finishing the game, ad breaks between Atmosphere and That's Good break the entire mood the game set up.

Spotify Premium ($11.99/month at time of writing) removes ads, allows full offline download (so you can listen on flights, hikes, etc.), and gives you full skip control. For a 28-track album that's carefully sequenced for emotional flow, ad-free is meaningful. (Spotify offers a free month for new accounts — if you've never had Premium, that's the cleanest way to try.)

A tip for the Premium experience

Once you have the playlist built, turn OFF "shuffle" and OFF "smart shuffle." The credit order is THE order. Listening to it ad-free, in sequence, on a long drive (or while replaying the game with sound off and Spotify running) is genuinely the closest you can get to the cinematic experience the developers built.
